Aunt and Uncle visit!

Kristin and Tim visited us from Detriot this past weekend. It was sooo good to spend time with them and as usual, the visit went by too fast. We made the trip down to San Antonio with them to stay with Geoff and Kristin's grandma. Family time is so special and I wish we got to see them more often.

Jerra's 1st birthday party

We had Jerra's birthday party at my parents house in Grapevine. We were so lucky to have good friends there to celebrate our baby turning 1 with us. Jeff flew in from Miami, Bill and Becky came in from Houston, her god-father Case was there and lots of our D/FW friends were there...My good friends and J's god-mother Jessica, and her husband Marc, tried to make the trip, but their son DJ got sick at the last minute, so they will be traveling to Texas this summer...

One thing we were not expecting was for Jerra to not like her Birthday Cake! she really wanted no part of it! Guess thats what we get for not giving her any sugar until then!

a good friend of ours made this adorable dress for her! i love love love it! Her bedroom is done in a pink flamingo theme, so we figured her birthday party should carry the theme as well! its just toooo cute!!!

Jerra is a 1 year old!!!

How did 12 months go by so fast? I just can't get over how quickly this time has gone by. everyone told me that it would, but I think until you experience it firsthand its hard to comprenhend. she is just the light of our lives....we love watching her change and learn new things. she keeps us laughing and has such a fun personality. We are just so blessed that God gave her to us and thankful that He choose us to be her parents. our cup runeth over....

Christmas 2007

Christmas 2007 was a great one. Jeff came in from Miami and we all met up at my parents new house in Grapevine. it is always so nice to have the family together. We are stull looking forward to the day when Jeff moves back to Texas for good! Geoff's Dad, Bill, and Becky drove up from Houston to spend the day with us as well. It was so fun having JJ there! she loved all the attention and opening up her gifts. she was spoiled just a bit - she got so many gifts we had to save some for the following day! We are so blessed to have such a great family.

wow! it has been sooo long since I have updated our family site - guess I am not so good at this blogging stuff! but I have been busy - my wonderful hubby and perfect baby girl keep me on my toes - we moved - the holidays - etc etc....

I will try and do a summary here of the rest of 2007, start of 2008!

JJ is growing at rapid speed! I am not sure who gave her permission to change so fast - I know it wasn't Geoff or myself...she started walking the weekend of her birthday party - Jan 19th - and has been on the go since! here are more pictures!
