New Hair-do!

JJ's hair is finally long enough to do something with - and long enough to hang in her eyes if I don't! so, much to her dismay, I've started pulling her hair into a "ponytail" - it sits right on top of her head and is tooo cute! She hates it! she pulls it out after only a few minutes, so I am chasing her around putting it back in - i figure sooner or later she will get over it and just leave it in!

So, JJ has discovered her belly button! She "checks" it several times a day to see if its still there - and if we ask her where it is, she will point to it....its pretty funny and sooo cute!!!

She has one of the extra rooms in our house as her playroom, so here are some fun shots of us just playing around!






AND, of course - BATH TIME! JJ loves bath time!

Easter Egg Hunt

The George Bush library hosts an easter egg hunt every year, so we took Jerra - we weren't sure what to expect, but she did GREAT! she held onto her basket - which was almost as tall as she! - and with daddy's encouragement - went around and picked up the eggs and put them in her basket all BY HERSELF! we were sooo proud!

Outside Fun

so, since we moved to our new neigborhood Jerra has discovered the love of playing outside - we have great neighbors and everyone plays outside every afternoon - J loves running around (yes, she is running now!) and playing with the big kids. her fave things are her car, riding her new friends hot wheels and playing basketball with her daddy! we are so lucky that we moved to this great street where all the neighbors know each other, watch out for each other and the kids all play together. these days these types of streets seem few and far between - it reminds me a lot of the street I grew up on in Minnesota - even the weekend poker games are the same!

Softball game

The spring season of softball has started and Geoff is of course on a team. He really enjoys the games - especially when they win! Most of the games are after Jerra's bedtime, but one week he had a 6:15 game, so I took JJ to watch her daddy play! she was more interested in walking around and pointing out all the puppies that were there, but she got excited when seeing her daddy in the dugout...
