This list (Top 19 foods Texans can't live without) pretty much sums up what we eat.  Rather funny that we fall so far into the stereotypical Texas Family:  http://yestotexas.com/foods-that-texans-cant-live-without/

The NKOTB is releasing a new video tomorrow - looks like a re-cap of the tour. SUPER excited to see it.

Football season is approaching.  I am always looking forward to the fall and seeing football on my tv again, but this season holds the promise of something more...the Aggies have a lot of pressure on them to perform well.  The Texas loaded up on players during the off-season, and the Cowboys...well, they are the Cowboys. I can't wait for it to start.  A few "hype" videos have been popping up on youtube in anticipation for the Alabama game Sept 14th.  They are fun to watch, but I just want the season to start.

Tomorrow is August 1st and the summer is flying by.  Jerra has been having a blast at various camps - CSISD, VBS's and more.  She has gone on field trips to the children's museum, the Circus, lots of swimming pools, bowling, laster tag, the movies and more.

Lots happened in July picture wise as well...

We took the family on a little Texas Hill Country adventure over the 4th of July weekend.  1st stop was The Walden Plantation in Llano.  We know the owners and they have asked Geoff to come down and play there multiple times.

Brady thought it was fun to watch dad play a couple songs during lunch at a little place in Castell.

Next stop - Luckenbach!  We finished off in San Antonio visiting Geoff's grandma.

The following week Jeff, April and Hailey came to town.  It was great to spend time with them and the girls all had a blast. Jerra loved playing the role of big sis to Hailey as well.

It was Jorja's 4th birthday as well!

Stay tuned for July Part 2!

June recap

This picture of Brady makes me laugh - there was nothing wrong with him here, he just gets mad at me when I take pictures of him! He is telling me to stop.  LOL

June was a hot one, so we spent most of it in the grandparents' pool.  So thankful we have that option now!

Aunt Bebe (Geoff's sister, Kristin) flew in from Michigan and came in town with their cousin, Jennifer.  The 3 of us headed to Houston for the New Kids on the Block concert.  and yes, it was totally worth it!!  I have since then converted both girls into Blockheads!

More pool time.  Brady is now as big of a fish in the water as the girls are.
