Jerra played softball this past spring for the city league.  Dad was the coach of course!  She really got the hang of it and enjoyed the games.  and the girl can really hit!

Jerra is 5!

Jerra turned 5 back in January.  We did here 5 year old pictures in March.  Where has the time gone?

We went with a Princess-themed shoot.  It seemed to fit - she has been dressing up as princesses since she was 1 and still loves to play dress up.  I figure that will be coming to an end soon, so I wanted to capture the love she has for dress up while I could.

Beautiful Jerra.  You are such a bright light in our world.  You make us laugh every day. We are so proud of you.

Galveston, TX

We took a mini-vacation down to Galveston at the end of May. The girls love going there. We have a friend who lets us stay at her beach house, it is walking (or a golf cart ride!) away from the beach, on the canal and surrounded by good neighbors.

We are swimming! (EVERY day!)

My parents are all settled in here in College Station. They have a beautiful home in a great neighborhood, just down the street from us and in the same subdivision as Jerra's Kindergarten. They will be picking her up in the fall from school and keeping her for a couple hours in the afternoons. They are also across the street from one of her friends' grandparents house, so that will provide for lots of play dates!

As soon as they moved in they decided that they needed a pool! We didn't argue. And since it has been finished, Jerra has been in it swimming - every-single-day! She will be part fish by the time the summer is over. She has been going to various Vacation Bible Schools in the morning and swimming over there every afternoon. Jorja is getting very good at swimming too - she puts her head under water, is learning how to float on her back and has no fear when it comes to jumping in. I am sure she will be swimming on her own fairly soon. And Bradyn just loves sitting on the 'shelf', throwing the toys into the pool and splashing away.
Geoff is in the process of building them a HUGE deck right now, they have already purchased new patio furniture, and dad has installed an outdoor tv. I think every weekend for the next 4 weeks is booked with swimming parties! Jeff, April and Hailey are coming in town in July as well - looking forward to their visit! With temperatures hitting 100 this week, I am sure we will be spending a lot of time around the pool this summer!

Bradyn - 9 months old

These were taken back in December for Bradyn's 9 month session: I typically like outdoor sessions, but it was too cold to drag the kids outside for photos this day. We were in full Christmas swing at this time and going a mile a minute.
