I know I am slacking on the posts lately. I have good reason though...3 weeks ago I started a new job at Texas A&M - that weekend I had 3 friends in from out of town, then the following weekend was thanksgiving and now I have spent this week decorating for christmas. The lights are up, the decor is done and the tree was put up tonight! I think I may have some breathing room after this weekend...

I never got around to the Halloween pictures - so I will post them here and the rest of our October. Hopefully I will get to November this weekend!

Jerra's school had a trick or treating event. the kids got to dress up and go around to different spot and get candy. Parents volunteered to hand out the candy - so I 'volunteered' Geoff to dress up in the Ostrich. He was beyond thrilled to do it. hehe...

Daddy carved the pumpkin again this year. he is the creative force in the family, so I let him run with stuff like this. My pumpkin would have been 3 triangles and a smile. Jerra was really into it at first....until she found a frog, then that is realy all she cared about...

For halloween night, Jerra picked out the girls atire. She insisted on being a witch. Particularly, a 'witch like minnie mouse.' There is a Halloween episode of Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Minnie is dressed like a witch. So that is where that idea came from. Jorja, she decided, was to be a ladybug. So, we had a little witch and a cutie ladybug that night. Jerra had so much fun walking the neighborhood with her friends. She really got into it and was excited to go to the next house and was ready to say "trick or treat". She is still eating her treats out of her pumpkin!

Hopefully I will have some down time after this weekend and can get around to editing some pictures and getting more up on the blog. Stay tuned!
